The administrative council of Longos Cultural Society ’Lord Byron’ invited the members as well as its young and old friends to the established Christmas celebration which took place in the Cultural Center of Longos Cultural Society at 6:00 p.m. on December 28, 2014. The chairwoman Mrs Anastasia Rodopoulou welcomed the guests.

Afterwards the children, who participate in the theatre-group of our cultural society, presented as every year a short sketch.
This year it was "A room with christmas decoration" by Mrs Athanasia Baladima. At the end of this short performance the actors
sung the greek "calanda" which ended with the refrain: "Εδώ στο Φ.Ο.Λ. που ήρθαμε, πέτρα να μη ραγίσει, μεγάλη είναι η ιστορία
του, φροντίστε να μην σβήσει."

Awards The successful students have been rewarded for their initiation in the Universities and the Technical Institutes of our country: Ervisa Tsekai Theodora-Athina Palaiologopoulou Georgios Andritsos Fotini Panagpoulou Ansatasios Koliniatis Sofia Bardoutsou

Furthermore, Mrs. Theodora-Athina Palaiologopoulou was honored by Mrs. Eleni Ntourou-Rodopoulou.
The certificate for Mr. Georgios Andritsos was presented to his grandmother, Mrs. Kalliope Bounia by
Mrs. Anastasia Rodopoulou.

The certificate for Mrs. Fotini Panagpoulou was presented to her father, Mr. Dimitrios Panagopoulos by the board member Mr. Werner Charilaos Sollbach. Two more graduates, Mr. Ansatasios Koliniatis and Mrs. Sofia Bardoutsou unfortunately could not attend at today's Christmas party. They receive their documents of incorporation at a later date.

Like every year gifts are given to the children and... ... the calendar 2015 of CULTURAL SOCIETY LONGOS "LORD BYRON" was sold.
