The Adults-Theatre-Group of the Theatre F.O.L. will present the play "Oh my kidneys"The premierewill will take place on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 9.15 p.m. at the Cultural Centre Longos. ADMISSION 5,00 EURO as financial support for the CULTURAL SOCIETY LONGOS.

The playBoulis and Mitsaras, who had only their names as company, finished work every day between noon and one o'clock and had their coffee in the small café on the theatre square. What had puzzled them was the well-dressed and friendly gentleman who had been drinking his coffee almost next to them at the same hour on the last few days, smiling at them. On that last Saturday, the well-dressed gentleman not only smiled at them, but also said good morning. Boulis and Mitsaras were a little touched and agreed that people still exist today. They returned his good morning, and of course, in their innocence, they could never have imagined that the sole purpose of this well-dressed and friendly gentleman was to steal and sell their kidneys.

A few words about the authorBabis Tsikliropoulos was a writer, screenwriter, lyricist and poet. He was a founding member of the Association of Screenwriters of Greece. He was born in Pyrgos in 1939. After finishing school, he settled in Athens. In 1966, he published a collection of poems entitled ‘Visits’ (Επίσκεψη).

Babis Tsikliropoulos wrote novels (The Baron, The Odyssey of Mitsos, Don't Forget and Don't Come Back, Release, Visit, Memoirs of an Embryo, Amateur Man, The Second Coming in Live) and plays (The Surprise, The Cuckolds, Say Mitso, The Invitation, The Gentleman, Salto Mortale, The Giants, Ursula, Ladies' Cries, The Friday, The Swallow Garden, We Are All Spectators, The Basement, Oh My Kidneys) and has also worked on children's books (Caretta-Caretta Turtle Island, Monachus-Monachus Seal Island, Seagull Island, Christmas of a Lost Dog, The Weeping Eagle) and children's books (The Island of the Caretta-Caretta Turtle, On the Island of the Monachus Seal, On the Island of the Seagulls, Christmas of a Lost Dog, The Weeping Eagle). He has also written scripts for television series (Amateur Man, I Want to Get to Know You, The Return, Our Childhood Town, Croustallan, Tales Behind Bars, The Passion) and films (The Flight of the Swan, Electric Angel, The Baron, Soule them! So we'll get the kuradokastro, The dealers) as well as lyrics for songs, most famously ‘Eleni’ and ‘Letter’ (To Γράμμα), set to music by Thanos Mikroutsikos:
«To Γράμμα» - Charis Alexiou Babis Tsikliropoulos died on 30 March 2011 at the age of 72 and was buried in Pyrgos.
