Tinos

1st day: Tinos, Pyrgos, Volax

Departure at 3.30 am from Longos at the fountain to the harbour of Rafina with a short stopover. Arrival at the harbour, embarkation on the ferry to the Cyclades. We arrived on the island of Tinos at 11.35 am and took the bus to explore the island's beautiful villages.

Our first stop was the largest village of Tinos, Pyrgos - birthplace of Giannoulis Chalepas and home to famous marble craftsmen. Here we visited the Museum of Marble Crafts, highlighting the art of marble, and the Museum of the Artists of Tinos. In the village square we could savour delicacies and desserts from Tinos.
